Privacy Policy
How Smart Wealth Insight collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal data when you visit our website, contact us, create an account, place an order, pay through Stripe, or download a digital product.
Plain-language summary: We collect only the information reasonably needed to operate the website, process orders, provide downloads and support, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell or rent personal data. Stripe processes payment-card information under its own privacy and security practices.
Who we are and the scope of this policy
Smart Wealth Insight ("SWI", "we", "us", or "our") operates smartwealthinsight.com and the SWI PRIME digital-product services offered through this website. This policy applies to personal data processed through our website, store, account area, checkout, customer support, and digital-download delivery.
For privacy questions, contact smartwealthinsight.official@gmail.com or use our contact page.
Personal data we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, telephone number, billing address, and information you submit in a form or message.
- Account and order data: account identifier, purchased products, order amount and currency, order status, coupon use, timestamps, invoices, and customer notes.
- Payment-related data: payment status, transaction reference, payment method summary, billing details, and limited card descriptors supplied by Stripe. We do not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.
- Digital-delivery data: download permission, file access count, access time, IP address, and records used to protect and deliver purchased files.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, cookies, diagnostic logs, security events, and website interaction data.
- Communications: questions, support requests, complaints, feedback, and other correspondence with us.
Please do not send full card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary contact forms or email.
Why and on what basis we use personal data
We process personal data only for stated purposes and where an appropriate legal basis is available under applicable law, including:
- Contract and pre-contract steps: to accept payment, fulfil an order, provide download access, respond to a purchase enquiry, and provide support.
- Legal obligations: to maintain records, handle tax or accounting requirements, respond to lawful requests, and protect consumer rights.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the website, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot errors, improve services, and establish or defend legal claims, balanced against your rights.
- Consent: where required for optional cookies, analytics, marketing communications, or another clearly described activity. You may withdraw consent at any time.
WooCommerce orders, accounts, and digital downloads
Our store uses WooCommerce to manage products, carts, checkout, orders, accounts, and download permissions. When you place an order, we use the submitted information to verify the transaction, send service emails, provide access to purchased files, handle support, and maintain transaction records.
Guest checkout may be available. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. Download links may contain unique security values and access may be logged to prevent misuse and investigate delivery problems.
Payments processed by Stripe
We use Stripe as a payment service provider. At checkout, Stripe may collect and process payment credentials, billing details, device information, IP address, fraud-prevention signals, and transaction information. Payment-card fields may be delivered directly by Stripe, so full card details are not stored on our website.
We normally receive a payment result, transaction identifier, amount, currency, customer and billing details, and a limited description of the payment method. Stripe acts under its own terms and privacy practices. Review the Stripe Privacy Policy for details.
Cookies, local storage, and analytics
We and our service providers may use:
- Essential cookies: for cart and checkout functions, language or session preferences, account security, payment processing, and fraud prevention.
- Functional cookies: to remember choices and improve site operation.
- Analytics or marketing technologies: only when enabled and, where required, after an appropriate consent choice.
You can control cookies through available consent controls and browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout, account, language, or download features from working correctly.
When we share data
We do not sell or rent personal data. We may disclose only the data reasonably needed to:
- payment processors such as Stripe;
- website hosting, cloud storage, email delivery, security, backup, analytics, and technical-support providers;
- professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, insurers, or legal advisers;
- regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other authorities when disclosure is legally required; and
- a successor or transaction partner in a legitimate business reorganisation, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Providers are expected to process data only for authorised purposes and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
International data transfers
Some service providers may process or store data outside your country. Where applicable law requires it, we use an available transfer mechanism or other appropriate safeguard and assess the provider's privacy and security commitments. Different countries may have different data-protection rules.
How long we retain data
We keep data only for as long as reasonably required for the relevant purpose, including accounting, tax, fraud prevention, support, dispute, and legal obligations. Our operating targets are:
| Record type | Operating retention target | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Pending or failed orders | 30 days | Checkout recovery, diagnostics, and fraud review |
| Cancelled orders | 90 days | Support, reconciliation, and dispute handling |
| Completed or refunded orders | 60 months | Accounting, tax, warranty, refund, and legal records |
| Inactive accounts with no continuing order need | 24 months | Account administration and security |
| Support, download, and security logs | Normally up to 24 months | Delivery support, licence protection, and security |
| Stripe records | Under Stripe's policy and legal duties | Payment processing, compliance, and fraud prevention |
A record may be kept longer when required by law, a valid legal hold, an unresolved dispute, fraud investigation, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of a legal claim. It may be deleted or anonymised earlier when no longer needed.
How we protect data
We use proportionate administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards, which may include encrypted connections, access controls, software updates, backups, payment-provider controls, logging, and incident response. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so we continually review risks and controls.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law and necessary identity verification, you may have the right to:
- ask whether we process your data and request access or a copy;
- correct incomplete or inaccurate data;
- request deletion, restriction, or objection in eligible circumstances;
- receive or transfer certain data in a portable form where applicable;
- withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing; and
- lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
We may need to retain information that is required for a transaction, legal obligation, security investigation, or legal claim. To submit a request, use the contact details in Section 16.
Marketing choices
If you opt in to promotional communications, you may unsubscribe through the message link or contact us. Service messages about orders, security, downloads, policy changes, or account administration are not promotional and may still be sent when necessary.
Children's privacy
Our commercial services are not intentionally directed to children who cannot lawfully enter into a purchase or provide consent in their jurisdiction. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal data may contact us to request review and appropriate action.
Third-party websites and services
Our pages may link to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are controlled by their own policies, not this policy. Please review those policies before providing personal data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our products, providers, website features, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version on this page and update the date above. Where required, we will provide an additional notice or request new consent.
